Why do certain people think that placing more strict regulations on obtaining and keeping firearms legally will reduce crime?

It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to comprehend that the people that are committing crimes with firearms are CRIMINALS —- THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT THE LAW, NOR DO THEY OBEY IT —- hence, why they are CRIMINALS!

Allow me to clue you in, THEY AREN’T BUYING GUNS LEGALLY! So, your stupid restrictions and laws are just making it harder for law-abiding citizens to obtain the firearms that might protect them from the criminals that are getting the guns anyway!
